Hospice Vs. 

Palliative Care


The first step in considering hospice care is understanding the difference between hospice and palliative care. Palliative care is a form of medical care that focuses on managing symptoms and improving quality of life for individuals with serious illnesses, regardless of their prognosis. 

Hospice focuses on quality of life vs. quantity. Hospice is indicated when a life-limiting diagnosis is made by the doctor.
